Division II-III Academic All-American Scholar

I have always taken great pride in my academics. As much as I enjoy playing sports and hanging out with my friends, I make sure I always leave time for my academics. Being a duo sport athlete, both teams hold us to a minimum GPA of 2.5. My parents hold me to a 3.0 and I myself, hold myself to a 3.5. If I can manage a two sport schedule, while making sure I produce the best work possible in the class room, I believe that this will make my transition to the work world even easier.

With that being said, the NCAA has a program called the NCAA American Hockey Coaches scholars program where if a student athlete holds above a 3.6 GPA and plays in 40% of the teams games, then you get put onto this list. The last three years, I have been able to make this list. I expect myself to make this list my senior year and continue this streak.
